Nazmiyev A. Formation of Social Competence of Students of Higher Educational Institutions in the Process of Activities of student Self- Government Bodies

The object of the research is the process of forming the social competence of students of higher education institutions in the process of the activities of student self-government bodies. The subject of the research is the pedagogical conditions for the formation of social competence of students of higher education institutions in the process of the activities of student self-government bodies. The purpose of the study is to substantiate, develop and experimentally verify the effectiveness of pedagogical conditions for the formation of social competence of students of higher education institutions in the process of student self-government. The scientific novelty of the obtained results will be that: for the first time, the pedagogical conditions for the formation of social competence of students of higher education institutions in the process of the activities of student self-government bodies were defined and theoretically substantiated for the first time, which include: enrichment of the content of professional training of students (scientific-pedagogical, practical, psychophysiological, psychological) in accordance with the new requirements of society, aimed at the formation social competence; changing the role functions of the manager, tutor and teacher from the traditional role of an expert mentor to the innovative role of a facilitator - leader and participant in the educational process; creation of a special in student self-government a body that will contribute to the formation of the social experience of students based on the coordination of joint actions of students, the administration of higher education institutions, various social institutions, the development and implementation of various social programs and projects, inclusion in various types of social practices; organization of the work of the "Startup" club by student self-government bodies with the aim of targeted formation of students' social competence in a combination of social values, motives, knowledge, skills, experience, psychophysiological and psychological qualities; further development was gained by scientific ideas about the phenomena of social competence and student self-government, the essence and structure of social competence of students of higher education institutions, the peculiarities of its formation in the process of activity of student self-government bodies; the diagnostic toolkit for determining the level of formation of social competence of higher education students has been improved; content, technologies, forms and methods of formation of social competence of students of higher education institutions in the process of activities of student self-government bodies.
