Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to identifying the specifics of the political structuring of public opinion based on the use of modern means of Internet communication in modern Ukraine and foreign countries. The theoretical and methodological foundations of the study of the structuring of public opinion in modern social sciences and political science research priorities have been clarified. The leading political and institutional actors in the structuring of public opinion are identified, and the features of the influence and reasons for the use of interactive communication technologies are revealed. The specifics of the functioning of the system of propaganda and ideological indoctrination in modern autocratic countries have been identified. The evolution vector of the structuring of public opinion in the conditions of political transformations is determined. The peculiarities of the evolution of the use of Internet communication in the formation of the political and communication system of modern Ukraine are revealed. The means of counteracting the destructive influence on the structure of public opinion in modern Ukraine have been identified. An optimal model of public opinion of national consciousness has been developed.
