Essay

The codification of the meanings of culture occurs due to the symbolic space of speech. Theatrical and cinematic practices are integrated into the cultural space through artistic images. The stage word in theater and fiction cinema is a link between the cultural potential of the Ukrainian language and the ability of art to influence the formation of national identity. The language pattern of the role is able to contain archetypes of the Ukrainian national culture as those that the national viewer recognizes, at the same time they reflect the author's style and individual characteristics of the actor. Special attention should be paid to intonation as a component of verbal culture in the theatrical and cinematic practices, which is capable of forming emotional and value sequences synchronized with the axiological vectors of national culture.The scientific novelty of the obtained results consists of a comprehensive study of the stage word in the Ukrainian theater and fiction cinema of the XX - the first quarter of the XXI century, as a carrier of the meanings of identity in the national culture, reflected in the intoning of the language pattern of the role. The study of historiography showed that the aspects of the study of stage language by theater studies, art criticism, philosophy, history, philology, literary criticism are revealedin the scientific literature and the topic is also present in the applied works of directors, actors and teachers in stage language. It is emphasized that the cultural potential of the stage word, especially the expressive possibilities of intonation as representations of the components of national identity in theater and fiction cinema, is not traced in scientific works. The study of historiography and the source base of work revealed a layer of scientific literature on the study of various aspects of the stage word in the Ukrainian theater and cinema, which is divided into the following areas: historical, cultural, theoretical and performance and cultural. Audio-visual sources of research are works of fiction cinema and photographs with fragments of performances and individual film scenes based on literary, historical and legendary Ukrainian material video versions of Ukrainianlanguage performances. Also, to highlight the artistic and historical and cultural context, performances and films, where the Ukrainian language was used as a mean of expression were involved. The works of the XX - the first quarter of the XXI century were studied, the main focus was on stage language in the theater and fiction cinema 1991 – 2020s. The polyaspectness of the studied phenomenon required comprehensive study by involving interdisciplinary tools represented by cultural, historical and cultural, historical and anthropological, art, hermeneutic and structuralist approaches. The work defines and orders the relationship between such key terms as «intonation», «national theater», «national cinema», «fiction cinema», «archetypes», «national identity» and «mentality», and also the meaning of «stage word» as the main concept is revealed. Stage language is considered in the work as a phenomenon of culture, which is due to the historical and cultural context of its formation and subsequent dynamics, and is also capable of reverse influence.
