Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the solution of scientific and practical task in the field of medical sciences - dentistry: increasing the efficiency of orthopedic treatment for small defects of the dentition by biomechanical substantiation of bridge design with minimized tooth preparation, optimization of placement of its supporting elements and comparative evaluation of fixing materials. The results of the dissertation work give new insights into the improvement of the retention properties of adhesive-retained bridges due to the minimized preparation of abutment teeth and the increase in adhesive retention through the use of double-retention cement for indirect restorations. In particular, for the first time, on the basis of experimental calculations and the method of mathematical modeling, the expediency of minimally invasive preparation of abutment teeth for bridges, avoidance of torques between the bridge frame and the fixing material was proved from the point of view of biomechanics. Also proved the effectiveness of the proposed design of the bridge prosthesis with adhesive fixation, increasing the period of use up to 18 months and reducing complications through violations of fixation, chips of composite cement, etc.
