Khikhlushko B. The image of the author and the subject of Yuriy Izdryk's lyrics in the context of the modern literary process

The dissertation explored the interaction between the image of the author and the subject of Yuriy Izdryk's lyrics. The relevance of the dissertation topic is stipulated by the need to explore the specifics of the relationship between the subject of the lyrics and the image of the real author that emerges in contemporary media discourse. Such a view will help to reveal the new nature of the positioning of the "life/creativity" relationship in the context of consumerism, medialization, and virtualization. The purpose of the work is to investigate the relationship between the subject of Izdryk's lyrics and the image of the real author in the media space of the contemporary literary process. The specifics of the study and the purpose led to the use of a number of scientific methods. In particular, the method of new historicism, which allowed us to consider literary and non-literary texts in the same plane, to read the former through the prism of the latter, biographical method - necessary for finding correspondences in the author's life story and the image of the subject of the lyrics, psychological method - necessary for finding, establishing and understanding the common psychological consciousness of the author and the subject of the lyrics, historical and comparative method - for analyzing the interaction between the author and the subject of the lyrics in different epochs; hermeneutical method - for analyzing poetic works.
