Essay

The scientific novelty of the research lies in the fact that it was first studied and summarized the experience of training future foreign language teachers for the organization of blended learning in Austrian and Polish universities, theoretically substantiated the specifics of the adaptation to the Ukrainian system of university education of the model of the formation of methodological competence in future foreign language teachers in the organization of blended learning based on the best European and world experience, which is formed by methodological approaches, the content of training, pedagogical conditions for the implementation of the model, ways of implementation the ideas of the best Austrian and Polish experience regarding the formation of methodological competence of future teachers of foreign languages in the context of their training in national institutions of higher education for professional activity in conditions of blended learning. The problem of forming the professional competence of future teachers of foreign languages has received further development, taking into account the modern development of digital and educational technologies, significantly, the technologies of blended learning of foreign languages. The practical significance of the research consists in the development of a theoretically justified model of training future teachers of foreign languages for the organization of blended learning with the identification of appropriate pedagogical conditions and examples of their implementation in the practice of the educational process at the university; the special course of the educational discipline "Designing educational materials for learning a foreign language in the context of blended learning" (from a block chosen by students) with corresponding accompanying educational materials was developed, which can be used by teachers of higher educational institutions as an example of the organization of the educational process in the context of blended learning. The essence of the content and organizational-procedural features of the formation of methodological competence in future teachers of foreign languages in the implementation of blended learning in institutions of higher education of the Republic of Poland and Austria is substantiated.
