The content of the concepts of "digitization", "digitalization" and "digital transformation" is determined, as well as the relationship between these processes. It has been proven that the construction of digital transformation strategies, business models and assessment of enterprise digitalization, readiness to perceive transformations are important areas of modern research. Based on the generalization and analysis of the approaches of scientists and practitioners to defining the essence of the concept of "digital transformation" of an enterprise, its author's interpretation is proposed. It has been proven that the management of the digital transformation of enterprises is based on the assessment of the level of its digitalization, which is the driving force and guarantee of the success of digital transformation initiatives. Available approaches and tools for assessing the level of digitization are summarized. It was determined that digital transformation management is a comprehensive approach to the implementation and control of digital changes in enterprises and is closely related to change management. The stages and tools of digital transformation management are summarized, as well as areas of digital transformation of the enterprise that can be affected by digital technologies. Based on the analysis of existing approaches to managing the digital transformation of the enterprise, the need for their improvement has been proven. It is substantiated that companies face various problems when managing digital transformation, among which one of the most important is the assessment of the very process of its passage, without which it is impossible to purposefully manage this process itself. It has been determined that construction is an industry in which digitization is spreading quite quickly. The most promising digital technologies in construction are highlighted and it is substantiated that the basis of the digital transformation of the construction industry is building information modeling (BIM) technologies, supported by physical and digital technologies of Industry 4.0. It has been proven that the digital transformation of construction enterprises based on BIM is the main lever of managing this process. Based on the analysis of the activities of the enterprises of the industry, the key features of the development of construction enterprises in the developed countries of the world and the key aspects of the development of the enterprises of the construction industry of Ukraine, which should ensure their effective participation in the post-war development of the country, have been identified. A number of difficulties faced by Ukrainian construction companies affecting their efficiency and ability to develop have been identified. A SWOT analysis of the development of construction enterprises in Ukraine was carried out and it was substantiated that they have significant potential for development, but also face numerous challenges. It has been proven that digital technologies that offer innovative solutions throughout the entire life cycle of a construction object will become urgent in the development of industry enterprises. Based on the study of foreign experience in the development of construction enterprises and state initiatives on the use of digital technologies in construction in the countries of the world and Ukraine, the importance of state support for the implementation of BIM technologies is substantiated. A number of challenges and obstacles to digitization in the construction industry have been formed, and a number of barriers, which are additionally faced by the implementation of BIM in Ukraine, have been identified. The factors that stimulate the implementation of BIM in Ukraine have been identified. It is substantiated that the key stage of forming the strategy of digital transformation of enterprises of the industry and its further implementation is the evaluation of digitalization in order to determine the ways of digital transformation and the selection of appropriate digital technologies. The peculiarities of the construction industry of Ukraine, which determine its development, were determined, and the image of the external environment of domestic construction enterprises was formed. Based on the stages of the life cycle of buildings and structures, a classification of construction enterprises was formed depending on the types of their activities. Based on the template of Osterwalder A. and Piñet Yv. a digital business model of a construction enterprise created on the basis of BIM was developed. A structural and logical scheme of digitization of the construction enterprise is proposed and BIM levels are standardized according to the stages of the construction object's life cycle. A methodical approach to the assessment of digitization of enterprises in the construction industry of Ukraine has been developed.
