Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the synthesis of new sulfonamide-containing 1,3-oxazoles and 1,3-thiazoles, the study of their mitotic and antiviral activity. For the first time, sulfonamide-containing derivatives of 1,3-oxazole were synthesized, which contain a sulfonamide group remotely in the side chain of the oxazole ring, connected by a piperazine/piperidine linker. A method for the synthesis of 1,3-oxazole derivatives containing a phenylsulfonylamide group in the 2nd position of the oxazole ring was developed. A method for the synthesis of sulfonamide derivatives of 1,3-thiazole in the 4th position of the thiazole ring was developed. Hybrid compounds containing two azole rings and one or two sulfonylamide groups linked by a piperazine linker were obtained. The anticancer and antiviral effects of the obtained compounds were studied, and the leading compounds were determined. The practical results of the dissertation consist in the expansion of synthetic approaches to the synthesis of 2-phenylsulfonylamide derivatives of 1,3-oxazole and 4-sulfonylamide derivatives of 1,3-thiazole, which contain an unsubstituted 2nd position. The investigated relationship "structure-activity" provides valuable knowledge about the design of molecules with anticancer and antiviral activity. Effective anticancer and antiviral agents have been found.
