Ishchenko I. Glutonic names in the texts of modern Ukrainian women’s prose

The thesis is devoted to the analysis of glutonic names, which are a bright set of linguistic means of modern Ukrainian women’s prose. With the help of these lexemes we can realize modern life of modern people (everyday cooking, household chores, family celebrations, feasts, solemn events, etc.). All of these actions have connection with glutonia. The aim of the research is to study the structural-semantic representation, functional-stylistic potential and value meanings of the glutonic corpus in modern Ukrainian women’s prose. The topicality of our research is based on the fact that one of the brightest sources representing the wealth of glutonic names is modern writing practice. It is a powerful resource for updating the glutonic corpus of the Ukrainian language. Glutonic names used by female authors in literary texts have not yet been the object of a comprehensive study in Ukrainian linguistics. The analysis of the corresponding names at the text level leads to a multifaceted understanding of the structural-semantic and functional-stylistic parameters of the nomination, the determination of their linguistic and cultural, national features not only through the common language, but also in the literary picture of the world, makes it possible to reveal coded information about certain glutonic realities at the expense of linguistic means (glutonem of words, glutonem of phrases). The texts of modern Ukrainian women’s prose testify to the rapid development of cross-cultural ties, globalization, the significant influence of intercultural communication. It helps to study national and foreign cultural nominations, establish ways of replenishing and updating the lexical composition, delineating the linguistic and cultural specificity of foreign and actually Ukrainian names through the comprehensive study of the glutonic corpus. In addition, the actualization of various directions in the study of glutonic names, it activates the prospects of scientific research, among which is the need to understand the already existing theoretical and practical work, to find a general methodological concept of gluttony.
