The dissertation is devoted to a comprehensive study of theoretical, methodological and practical aspects of Germany's implementation of a competitive strategy in the context of EU integration modernization. Considerable attention is paid to the disclosure of the theoretical and methodological foundations of the processes of integration modernization of the European Union based on the generalization of theories of regional economic integration, the definition of regional factors and challenges of integration modernization of this grouping, as well as the specification of its globalization determinants.
