Dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the specialty 051 "Economics". – "Kherson State University" of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine; Kherson, Ivano-Frankivsk, 2025. The dissertation is devoted to a comprehensive study of managing the competitiveness of IT enterprises in modern conditions of digital transformation, globalization and rapid technological changes. The relevance of the topic is due to the fact that the IT sector is one of the most dynamic and promising sectors of the economy, which plays a key role in the formation of the digital economy and ensuring the competitiveness of the national economy in the international arena. The author investigates theoretical, methodological and practical aspects of managing the competitiveness of IT enterprises, in particular in the context of integration into the global business environment and the formation of sustainable competitive advantages. The first section of the dissertation examines the theoretical and methodological principles of managing the competitiveness of enterprises. The author analyzes various conceptual approaches to determining the essence of competitiveness, competitive advantages and strategies. In particular, theories such as resource theory, knowledge theory, key competence theory and institutional theory are investigated, which explain the sources of the formation of competitive advantages. Particular attention is paid to the impact of digital transformation on competition, in particular on the growing importance of innovations, artificial intelligence, big data analytics and other advanced technologies. The second section is devoted to the study of factors of competitiveness of IT enterprises in Ukraine. The author identifies internal and external factors that influence the formation of competitive advantages. Among the internal factors, technological development, personnel quality, innovative potential, management efficiency and access to financial resources are highlighted. External factors include market conditions, institutional environment, level of development of digital infrastructure, state regulatory policy and international competition. Using various general scientific and specialized research methods, as well as economic and mathematical modeling, the author identifies key sources of competitive advantages for domestic IT enterprises. The third section proposes directions for forming an adaptive strategy for managing the competitiveness of IT enterprises. The author develops a model for forming competitive advantages, which is based on the principles of complexity, adaptability and innovation. This model involves the integration of such elements as technological excellence, product/service quality, marketing, personnel management and partnership interactions. Particular attention is paid to the stakeholder model of strategic management, which involves interaction with all stakeholders (including customers, suppliers, employees and government agencies) to ensure the sustainable development of the enterprise. The study is based on the use of various methods, including system analysis, statistical analysis, economic and mathematical modeling and expert assessment. The author proposes new approaches to competitiveness management, in particular a model for the formation of competitive advantages based on digital transformation and stakeholder interaction. This model allows enterprises not only to compete effectively in the market, but also to ensure long-term sustainability in conditions of constant change. The practical significance of the results obtained is that they can be used to develop competitiveness management strategies not only for IT enterprises, but also for enterprises in other sectors of the economy. The conclusions obtained can also become the basis for the development of training courses in higher education institutions aimed at training specialists in the field of competitiveness management and digital transformation. The competitiveness of IT enterprises in modern conditions is determined by the ability to quickly adapt to changes, integrate new technologies and form innovative business models. The key factors of competitiveness are technological development, personnel quality, access to investment and management efficiency. The stakeholder model of strategic management allows to ensure sustainable development of the enterprise through interaction with all stakeholders. Digital transformation is a key factor in the formation of competitive advantages, which requires enterprises to constantly introduce innovations and adapt to new conditions.
