Object of research is teachers' professional formation during their training at higher pedagogical school. Subject of research is the process of students' readiness for encouraging junior pupils' artistic activity. Aim of research is to base theoretically and approve practically pedagogical technology of formation of students' readiness for making junior pupils more active in artistic activity ; to reveal pedagogical conditions of its operation at the higher pedagogical school. Methods of study: observation, conversation, testing, affirming and forming experiment, statistical methods of processing experimental data. Theoretical significance of study consists in revealing essence of notions "artistic activity of junior pupils", "the future teacher 's readiness for arousing junior pupils' artistic activity", determination criterions and indexes of personal-professional students' qualities. Practical significance of work admits elaboration the methods of diagnostics of levels of stud ents' readiness for encouraging junior pupils in their artistic activity, approval pedagogical technology of the future teachers' training for arousing artistic educational process, revision of methodical recommendations concerning improvement of teacher's system of professional training toward special aspect. Scientific novelty of study is in theoretical basis and design of pedagogical technology of formation the future teachers' readiness for encouraging artistic activity of junior pupils , in displaying the components of teacher's activity directed on development artistic educational work, discovering interdependence, stipulation and interaction of arousing pupils' artistic activity process and their spiritual development. Scope of introduction: pedagogical, higher pedagogical educational establishments.
