Dissertation analyses the link between the cognitive style of a teacher and his disposition to interpersonal conflicts with learners. The psychological portrait of the conflict teacher is developed. The investigation of the cognitive style of the conflict teachers showes that this link is seen clearly when the system of style dimensions (field dependence, type of reaction, cognitive differentiation) is analysed.
