Essay

This thesis is devoted to the problems of diagnostics and treatment of endocrine sterility in combination with subclinical forms of hypothyrosis, for disclosure of which in some doubtful cases it is expedient to take the test with metoclopromide determining the level of thyrotropic hormone and prolactin in blood serum prior to, in 30, 90 and 120 minutes after application of the preparation. It is found out that latent hypothyrosis causes impairment of hypothalamo-hypophysial interrelations. In most cases this leads to initiation of hyperprolactomia which causes aggravation of steady unovulation which cannot be corrected even against the background of its induction. It is shown that it is expedient to carry out stimulation for the patients with subclinical forms of hypothyrosis in combination with endocrine sterility after normalisation of laboratory indices of thyrotropic hormone and prolactin in blood serum through prescription of thyroid and prolactin-inhibiting preparations. The duration of administ ration and dosage depends directly upon the degree of immunological impairments. The application of this induction methods of ovulation of women with endocrine sterility in combination with subclinical forms of hypothyrosis enabled to increase the percentage of pregnancy initiation from 16.7% to 46.7%.
