Plant of the research - educational speech activity of the oldest children under school age. The purpose of the research - to find out a place of Ukrainian folk toy in the coherent speech teaching process, work out and make an experimental approbation of monologue descriptive speech forming by means of Ukrainian folk toy. Methods of the research - theoretical, empirical. Theoretical outcomes and the novelty - is drawn the cognitive-affective aspects of Ukrainian folk toy as a mean of development their descriptive speech; established dependent of the process of coherent speech development on emotional potential of Ukrainian folk toy; defined pedagogical circumstances and stages of children's mastering with creative description skills. Practical outcomes and the novelty - is worked out methodic of Ukrainian folk toy usage in the process of coherent monologue descriptive speech forming, systems of speech-creative exercises and textual "encoding" of tales - descriptions on imagination. The subject and degr ee of introduction - is introduced a technique of development of coherent monologue descriptive speech of the oldest children under school age by means of Ukrainian folk toy.
