Essay

The dissertation deals with the study of the effect of emotional-painful stress (EPS) and interoceptive stimulation on the secretion of the gastric mucus carbohydrate contents. The research revealed correlational interrelationships between the changes in the contents of N-acetylneuraminic acid (N-ANA), hexoses, general and bound with sulfate glycoproteins (GP) of the gastric mucus and the lipids peroxide oxidation (LPO) processes intensity in the gastric mucus membrane (GMM), the trunk, the forebrain, the diencephalon and the activity of the antioxidant system (AOS). A reduction in the protective characteristics of the gastric mucous barrier on the background of EPS and the interoceptive stimulation with HCl 0,5% solution induced by the intensification of ZPO processes in GMM and the studied brain structures was established. Mechanic irritation of the stomach increased the concentration of hexoses, general and bound with sulphate GP in GMM, that is enhances its resistency to the agression factors effec t. The above results widen and deepen the understanding of the mucus formation regulation mechanisms in norm, under the effect of stress and interoceptive irritation factors.
