The subject: evolution, legal nature,contents, problem of normative regulation and realization of the principle of glasnost, first of all in activities of state power bodies in Ukraine. The object: development of the theoretical model of the principle of glasnost, expose it essence, contents, specific of display in constitutional legislation. The research methods: dialectic, historical-legal, relatively-legal, structurally-functional, formal-logic, statistical. The comprehensive analysis of the principle of glasnost regulation and practice of realization in activities of state apparatus is made, that has allowed to offer general concept of the principle of glasnost as element of the fundamentals of constitutional order in Ukraine. The conclusions, formulated in a thesis, and recommendations can be used for the perfecting of the constitutional legislation, issuing the monography is planned. The application fields: legislative, scientific and research activity, educational process.
