Object: process of primary psychological adaptation of cadets to conditions of ability to live of higher schools of MIA of Ukraine. Aim: revealing of the factors influencing course of primary psychological adaptation, development of the practical recommendations on organization of her psychological support. Methods: psychodiagnostical, statistical and analytical. Theoretical and practical results: the structural components and functional mechanisms of primary psychological adaptation are established. Novelty: is developed typology of dynamic features of primary psychological adaptation, her basic styles and stages are allocated. Application sphere: organization of psychological support of process of adaptation of the cadets in higher educational institutions of MIA of Ukraine.
