Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the study of psychological features of the personal dignity development in the educational space. Based on the theoretical generalization of the problem, it is stated that dignity is considered to be an internal immanent personal quality and is interpreted as a complex integrative formation that determines peculiar features of permanent human development. The "dignity" concept has a positive connotation that belongs to both the object and the subject and is connected with the awareness of the own personal value. The development of personal dignity takes place in the educational space by means of interpersonal interaction system. In the functional sense it is considered as a semantic flow in which the unique personal abilities and capabilities are revealed. At the ascertaining stage of the experiment, prospective parameters of interpersonal interaction for the personal dignity development in the educational space were identified, and fundamental principles of the "Program for the personal dignity development in educational interaction" were determined. The program is based on the principles of reflection, dynamic integrity, cordosmediation, trust, dignity and responsibility. Reflective discourse was used as a psychological and pedagogical tool for the implementation of the Program tasks to ensure complex processes of self-knowledge and transformation. Experimental work included conducting trainings with groups of high school students, their difference was determined by the peculiarities of the dominant interpersonal interaction in the educational space. Three experimental (124 people) and three control groups (69 people) of students took part in the experiment. As a result of the implementation of the "Program for the personal dignity development in educational interaction" the changes of indicators of dignity, responsibility, freedom of choice and hardiness were found in all experimental groups.
