The questions of development of physical culture on Northern coast of the Black Sea in the antique period are being researched in the thesis. As the assumption, the idea of participation of foreign athletes in games, which occurred in cities of the Northern Black sea region is also being expressed. The level of preparation of athletes from the Northern shore of the Black sea was sufficient for participation and victories in panhellenic competitions.
