The thesis is on the social and political problems of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the period of market reforms of 80th - 90th years. Social and economic changes, instruments of reforms used by Vietnamese government, interdependence between policy and economy in the process of reform in Vietnam are analysed in this research. Conceptual and practical particularities of the Vietnamese government reformational activity in social and political spheres are defined.
