The choice of topic was due to the fact that one of the key issues of international politics of the XXI century. there are US-China relations that are gradually evolving from partnership to antagonism. Although the People's Republic of China has declared exclusively peaceful foreign policy goals, the United States and leading countries in the Asia-Pacific region are concerned about the rapid development of Beijing's economic and military power. The economic confrontation between Beijing and Washington has now escalated into a trade war. Given the nuclear status of both participants in this confrontation, the real threat in the world is the spread of antagonism from the economic sphere to the political and military. A comprehensive analysis of the relationship between the political and economic aspects of US-China relations, their impact on regional and global conditions, provides an opportunity to better orient Ukraine to a more effective foreign policy.
