The thesis is devoted to the research of implementation of international human rights standards in the national legal order of Tunis. The legal nature of implementation of international human rights standards in general international law and the genesis and development of this process in the internal legal order of Tunis are analyzed. Considerable attention is paid to the illumination of specific features of forms and methods of implementation of treaty rules in the sphere of human rights in the legislation of this country. The essential elements of implementation of international standards in the field of civil and political rights in the constitutional and other legal rules of Tunis are revealed. The thesis also contains the analysis of constitutional and other legal guarantees of observance of international standards in the sphere of civil and political rights recognized in Tunis. The internal institutional control mechanisms in the sphere of civil and political rights are characterized.
