In the dissertation the problems and prospects of development of investment process in conditions of transitional period on an example of economy of Ukraine are investigated. The main approaches to definition of concept "investment process" are analyzed, the features of functioning of investment processes in advanced market and administrative economies are considered. The opportunities of activization of investment activity for want of help of tools of the share market, fiscal and monetary policy are considered.
