Essay

The thesis is dedicated to the study wooden sacral architecture in Bukowyna of the XVII-th - XIX-th centuries. A more detailed study of these questions was promoted by the parallel consideration concerning construction technology of wooden architecture of worship and building experience of architects. The history of investigation of wooden worship building at the Bukowyna was looked. Written and material sources of studying problem were characterized. Were admitted mutual influence a folk traditions and church law at the form of planned structure and vertical space of wooden worship building at the Bukowyna in the XVII-th - XIX-th centuries. Between dwellings and temples different historical periods were pursued the parallels.
