Grygorov O. The contract of concession: legal nature and peculiarities of legal regulation

The thesis is devoted to the research of the legal nature of modern contracts of concession. The peculiarities of modern and perspective legal regulation of investment legal relations between the receiving state and foreign investor are analyzed in the framework of the contract of concession. The modern interpretation of the notion "contract of concession", legal status of its object and subject have been provided in the thesis. Structural and classifying peculiarities of this type of investment contracts have been disclosed. The main attention is paid to the analysis of mechanism of legal regulation of the contracts of concession in the international treaty practice of Ukraine on bilateral and universal levels. The peculiarities of the mechanism of subrogation in modern investment legal relations have been analyzed. The elements of "quasi' international character of contracts of concession with the participation of the receiving state are disclosed in the thesis.
