Essay

Caudal mesenteric ganglion of the rat and guinea-pig were objects of the study. Electrical properties of neurones and synaptic mechanisms of peripheral reflexes of the ganglion were investigated. The research was carried out by means of recording of action potentials from ganglionic nerves and single neurones. Equipment used: microelectrode technique, binocular microscope, amplifiers, stimulator, oscilloscope, fotoregistrator. Field of application: human and animal physiology, clinical gastroenterology.
