Khasan K. Historic-cultural phenomenon of Mari (on base of archaeological data)

The dissertation is devoted to the summarized characteristic of the archaeological complex of ancient oriental state Mari. The complex investigation of the architecture, art, sculpture, material culture had been fulfiled in the present work with the purpose of creation of Mari's historic-cultural portrey. Author had prooved that the first mesopotamian palaces emerged in Mari. This situation is connected with the precises of Mari's geographical position and the early appearanse of the class-determined society here. The precises of the building technics, creation and exploring of building materials, creation of kings' palaces and dwellings are investigated in the work. The main principles of the emergence of Mari's "cultural portrey" are showed in the work. Author had determined the hisrotical situation of Mari, that was situated on the boundaries of the Mesopotamian and Syrian world.
