Agricultural experiment institutions of the close of the X1X and early part of the XX century. The historical research of the prerequisites of dtuinnings, features, development dynamics, forms and activity importance of the Poltavshchina's agricultural experiment institutions. Economic, empiric and critical analysis. The periodization of the development of the Poltavshchina's experimental institution network is proposed; the importance of scietific research of the agricultural stations and their influence upon the efficiency of agricultural production is elucidated. Research data can be taken into account in the process of reforming the agroindustrial complex. The dissertation materials are used in versity and the Poltava Agrarian Academy.
