The thesis is the first complete research of ethnologic peculiarities of gathering, bee-keeping, hunting and fishing on the territory of West Polissya in the second half of the ХIХ – 30’s of the ХХ century. Crafts organisation forms, peculiarities of traditional instruments of transactions, crafts equipment, numerous ways of processing and usage of gathering, bee-keeping, hunting. The place of crafts in the structure of traditional economic activity and their influence on specific forms of material and spiritual culture of Ukrainians of West Polissya is exposed.
