Essay

Traditional-household culture of the Ukrainians. Aim: to justify importance of traditional embroidery in preservation and transmission of the ethnocultural inheritance. Methods: classifications and typologies, rather-historical, cartographical, graphic. The Ukrainian national embroidery as the ethnocultural phenomenon for the first time is investigated. The own classification and typology of an object material is offered. The specificity of embroidery of Podidia in a general Ukrainian and global context is determined. Sphere of use - for preparation encyclopaedic and reference works, in special rates of high schools, in regional research and museum work.
