In the dissertation on the basis of analysis of the teaching process in physics the main directions of the future development of the application of graphic method in the process of differenciated teaching of physics.There introduced a scientifically grounded methodical system on the basis of uniting of the system of school physical experiment and the graphic method of research of the mechanic qualities of solids which allows to in crease the level of understanding questions of deformation and to activize cognitive activity of pupils in the process of studing. The hypothesis of experimental research is tested in the teaching-learning process and the extra-curricula activities in secondary schools, pedagogical university, in-service teacher training courses in physics.
