Rudenko S. Regularities and peculiarities of term creation in the domain of catering (based on the material of Ukrainian term system "Mixed drinks")

The thesis is devoted to the comprehensive and system investigation of regularities and peculiarities of term creation in the domain of catering based upon the material of Ukrainian term system "Mixed drinks" (TSMD). The author has analyzed the historical conditions and has determined periods in creation of term systems connected with drinks production in Ukrainian sub-language of catering, which only at the last stage acquired TSMD which is almost entirely loaned both conceptually and lexically. The author analyses the structure, inner form, motivation and lexical and semantic peculiarities of terms and nomenclature items of TSMD. The syntactical structure of terms and nomenclature items were described in formal way. It was proved that while TSMD is developing and functioning due to the rules of present-day Ukrainian literature language its Lexis has peculiarities of extra-linguistic nature since it represents domain notions.
