This work is devoted to activity of "Vick" ("Age") Publishing House - one of the most inflluential Ukrainian publishing house existed in the end of XIX - beginning of XX century. The subject of inquiry of the dissertation is the activity of "Vick" ("Age") Publishing House and the subject matter became different aspects of this activity: socio-economic, historical and political functioning conditions, forming of repertory, author's and reader's audience, interaction with other subjects of publishing and literary process.
