Owing to the performed investigations, it was established that activities of ATPases, glutathione peroxidase, catalase, superoxide dismutase and ultrastructure of mucosa of investigated parts of gastrointestinal tract depended from changes of their functional activity and type of feeding at individual stages from 1 day to 90 days during postnatal development of cattle. During the period of lactative feeding of cattle, the enterocites of duodenum and jejunum are smaller in size, have less developed microvilli comparing with the same cells under mixed and ruminant feeding of animals. Goblet cells of mucosa of duodenum and jejunum of newborn cattle have elongated form, after one month they get round form; they are increased in number and size.
