Dissertation investigates the role of historical journalism, as well as of journalism in general, in the processes of state construction and self-organization of civilian society in Ukraine. Substantiation is provided of lawfulness of the application in journalistic practice of system approach to the study of historical views of the participants of these processes are elucidated, particularly in such aspects as moral, culture, language in the complex of system relationships.
