Dissertation on searching of psychological science scientific degree in speciality 19. 00. 01 - general psychology, history of psychology. - Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University, Kyiv, 2001. The dissertation is devoted to psychological analysis of judgment-emotional attitude to the life. It has been found that in Ukrainian cultural context the judgment-emotional attitude to the life consists of three components. These components are 1) happiness - emotional attitude to the life, 2) life satisfaction - judgment-cognitive attitude to the life, 3) sense of life as oppsite characteristic to existential vacuum. Results show that judgment-emotional attitude to the life results from interaction between basic person's attitudes towards self, significant others, and social world. The author describes functions of judgment-emotional attitude to the life. These functions are evaluation, motivation, attitude as value itself, and mediation between person's aptitudes and life achievements.
