The object of the investigation is an industrial activity of the woodworking enterprises. Classifications of forecasts and types of forecating are carried out. Factors influencing negatively the development of the native furniture production are systematised. Expediency of usage of the forecating methods in the management is substantiated. The steps for stimulation and regulation of development of the furniture production are proposed.
