Object of research: syntax of the simple sentence in Russian and English languages as one of the basic components of the utterance structure. Aim of research: creating methods of teaching the simple sentence. Methods of research: analysis of psychological, linguistic, methodical literature and textbooks for school; the method of theoretical building of the system of grammar exercises; contrastive method; pedagogical observation; natural experiment. Theoretical and practical results and new positions: creating the methods of communicative teaching the simple sentence in Russian and English on the basis of coordination of these disciplines. Subject and level of integration: methods of teaching the simple sentence in the 8th form of the basic school. Sphere of using: methods of teaching Russian language.
