Food industry of Ukraine. Scientific motivation of the principles of complex development of the branch and recommendation development on shaping and use of its export potential. Methods: statistician-economic, economic and mathematical, cartographic, balance. To motivate approaches to the determination of efficient directions of shaping and using an export potential of food industry. The ways of improvement of work of the branch in the Ukraine are created. Recommendations on raising a level of efficiency of production are designed. It is introduced at a rate of Ministry of Economics, State Committee of Statistic. The sphere of use are programs of development of regions.
