Vozna L. The peculiarities of cycles in development of Ukrainian economy in modern period

The subject of research is cyclic fluctuations of economic activity. The objective of research is to work out theoretical methodical fundamentals of cyclic factors acting in Ukrainian economy. Research methods: research was run on the base of fundamentals of Economic Theory concerning business cycles, macroeconomic equilibrium, market structure and competition, state regulation of economy. Abstract logical, statistical, econometric methods are used. As information basis for the research the State Statistical Committee official editions of USSR and Ukraine, NBU, original foreign sources, scientific publication covering research are used. Theoretical and practical results: Procyclic recurrence of dynamics of national revenue and accumulation fund share in NR in Ukraine during 1950-80 is revealed. The interaction between economic equilibrium and price dispersion is defined. The changes in character of price elasticity of aggregate supply and demand during business cycle are determined. The asymmetrical n ature of macroeconomic equilibrium of Ukrainian economy in precrisis period is investigated. The causes of macroeconomic asymmetrical equilibrium disturbance and overcoming ways of transformation crisis Ukrainian economy are defined. Measure of introduction: The main results of dissertation were presented at the International scientific practical conference devoted to entrepreneurship problems (Zhitomir, 1998) and conference of students and young scientists (Zhitomir, 1999). The materials of dissertation were used by Institute of economic forecasting in Ukrainian NAS under working out Ukrainian economy development models (letter № 135-277 - 31.05.2001) and in process of Economics, Macroeconomics, Political Economy teaching in Zhitomir Institute of Engineering and Technology (letter № 44-245/809 - 01.06.2001).
