The dissertation deals with the technique of increase of student's physical training by means of the optimization of the educational process in physical training of the students of the first up to the fourth year of studying of all specialties but physical training while using exercises in basketball. Different aspects of the problem are researched in connection with student's individual characteristic features, their motor activity volume, their physical and mental capability, and their psycho-physiological characteristics.
