Essay

The thesis deals with a historico-scientific reconstruction, analysis and appreciation of the initial period in evolution of Ukrainian radiophysical researches in the context of world science. The major achievements and the new results obtained by the Ukrainian scientists in the sphere of electrodynamics and theoretical optics, electromagnetic oscillations and waves study, improvement of radio communication means are thoroughly analysed, and the priorities of Ukrainian science in the mentioned sphere are established.
