Semenova T. Transaction costs of the foreign investment in Ukraine and methods of their reduction

Object of research: transact costs of foreign investment to Ukraine and their influence on investment processes' efficiency. Purpose of research: development of the theoretical basis, methodological statements and practical recommendations concerning improvement of the investment climate and foreign investment acquisition into Ukrainian economy taking into account transact costs. Methods of research: methods of acknowledgment, synthesis, comparison, systematization an aggregation, methods of logical, statistical, technical, economic and factor analysis, expert evaluation. Results: the essence of transact cost is determined, their classification is suggested; the means and results of increase of transact costs in transitional economy of Ukraine are determined; the complex of measures for transact costs decreasing in transitional economy of Ukraine by creation of market institutions; methodological basis is developed, practical measures of the investment climate and foreign investment acquisition into Uk rainian economy taking into account transact costs are suggested. Novelty: new tendencies in the world capital motions are determined, the necessity of transact costs consideration is grounded; the essence and the nature of the transact costs gained further development; classification of the transact costs by the systematization and subdivision onto two groups - such, appearing on before-contact phase (ex ante), and past-contact (ex past), is improved; the definition of the transition process as a process of institutional evolutional changes gained further development; the means and results of increase of transact costs in transitional economy of Ukraine are determined, that is allowing to activate transformation process; the essence of transact costs in transitional economy of Ukraine is determined; complex of measures for the improvement of institutional environment of foreign investment in Ukraine, directed to decrease of transact costs of foreign investors and stimulation of wide flow of foreign investmen ts, is systematized and specified; national infrastructure investment complex is suggested, allowing to rise the transparency of national institutional management for foreign investors.
