Gar'kavets' S. Delinquents' system of values and its psy-chological peculiarities

Object: the system of personal values of the delinquent as one of the determinants of its law-breaking activity. Aim: to single out and give the system of values of the delinquent witch become deformed, attach a specific character to it and take part in the progress of the realization of the law-breaking behaviour. Methods: Psychodiagnostical, interrogation, bio-graphical. Theoretical and practical results: the deformed parts in the value and meaning sphere of the criminal's person-ality and the qualitative differences of the systems of values of delinquents and law-abiding citizens were revealed the rec-ommendations for the prevention of the personality deforma-tion. Novelty: the simultaneous consideration of the value and meaning sphere of the under age and adult criminals of the subjective understanding of the value categories by them. A degree of application: it is used in the work of the psychologi-cal service of the state Deportment of Ukraine on penal policy. Application sphere: the giving of p sychological help to the convicted persons.
