The dissertation deals with complex individualization while teaching profession-related reading in English to students of technical schools and colleges. Motivative, regulative and formative kinds of individualization are realized by taking account of typological subgroups formed according to students' individual characteristics. Individualized tasks are categorized into the complex. Regulative individualization foresees the fulfilling of comprehension tasks, varied according to task support, text characteristics and type of response required. Formative individualization is realized by means of tasks directed on learning, correction and perfection of strategies. Motivative individualization tasks help students to take the responsibility for the results of their learning
