Essay

System of rehabilitative measures for functional foot failure in children of pre-school age. To optimize the system of rehabilitative measures for children with functional and static foot failure by means of elaborating adequate motor regimes, differentiated complex programmes of physical rehabilitation which promote harmonious development of children, correction of flat-foot and prevent associated functional disturbances. Functional studies, loading tests, method of podometry and methods of plantography, anthropometry, tests for determining mobility of nervous processes in the dynamics, estimation of functional status of cardiovascular system vegetative regulation, method of tetrapolar reoplethysmohraphy, methods of mathematical statistics and analysis. For the first time efficient means and methods of physical culture have been determined which constitute differentiated preventive and corrective rehabilitation programme of children with foot deformity carried out under conditions of organized group a nd individual sessions; peculiarities of alterating the indices of local motor activity, psychophysiological functions, vegetative regulation of cardiovascular system functional state, the heart work capacity, central and regional hemodynamics depending on the level of physical development and locomotorium state have been established; the system of tests, instrumental and pedagogical methods for determining the degree of foot deformation in children of different sex and age before and after rehabilitation under conditions of pre-school institutions has been supplemented; the programme of physical rehabilitation for optimization of rehabilitative treatment of children with flat-foot has been improved; the most informative indices of the efficiency of complex differentiated programme utilization with account for foot pathology have been defined. Differentiated preventive and corrective complex programmes which will provide strengthening of health, harmonious growth and development of pre-school children. The re sults of carried out work have been introduced into practical activity of pre-school institution No.444 of Dniprovsky district of the city of Kiev and are utilized during educational process of the Department of Physical Rehabilitation of the National University of Physical Education and Sport of Ukraine. Materials of the work have been presented at two International scientific congresses as well as at All-Ukrainian conferences of post-graduate students specialized in the field of physical education and sports and conferences of the Departments of the National University of Physical Education and Sport of Ukraine.
