The dissertation considers scientific and practical problems of formation and improvement organizational-economic mechanism of a life-support of the population on mezolevel, development of strategic reference points of increase life-support of the population in region.In dissertational work are investigated, systematized and added theoretical and methodological bases of functioning of a life-support of the population, it is developed organizational-economic mechanism of formation this system and the basic are determined social-economic indicators of life-support; the complex estimation of productive forces of the Chernigov region, potential opportunities and prospects of development is made; realization of a life-support of the population at a level of region is developed new model.
