The basis of the conception of economic adaptation of a person was elaborated. The point of a process of a person's economic adaptation was indicated. The main elements of the process adaptation activity was determined its conditions, resources, limitations, mechanisms. The multifunction role of this process in the social reproduction was also designated. The dynamical indicators of adaptation processes were proposed. Determination of a person's adaptation was based as an economic category and forms, mechanisms, regularities of the development of such relations were appointed. The classification of economic roles of a person according to the criterion of realization property relations was proposed. Distinctive traits of mechanism of a person's adaptation in transitional economy of Ukraine were appointed.
