The dissertation is devoted to problems of Ukraine's fuel and energy balance parammeters forecasting, coal industry re-structuring methods developmant and decisions substantiation. Threshold meanings calculation method of power rewer resources self-maintenance level and coal production amount are developed, resulting in the new approach to decisions substantiation about an economic feasibility of the further work. The directions of coal branch re-structuring practice updating are determined and their primary measures efficiency was evaluated. Methodical suggestions concerning economic losses from early unprofitable mines liquidation evaluation are developed.
